Our digital lives are filled with millions of messages like inside jokes, important life updates, arguments, and late-night thoughts. Over the years, these chats become the most authentic journals of our lives and relationships. Yet, all this data just sits idle in our phones, notoriously difficult to search, visualize, or understand.

The core motive behind Walyze is to give people the power to seamlessly explore their own digital footprints. We wanted to build a bridge between raw, unstructured chat data and beautifully rendered, interactive human insights. Most importantly, we wanted to prove that you can have deeply personalized, AI-driven experiences without keeping your chats longer than needed: everything is encrypted and permanently deleted after 24 hours.

Walyze is not just a standard web application; it is a privacy-first AI platform built around a smart indexing system. When you ask Walyze a question about your chat, the AI doesn't just guess, it actively searches through the actual meaning of your messages to formulate a precise, highly-contextual response.

To achieve this, Walyze leverages an advanced secure database. During the upload process, your messages are broken down into logical pieces. These pieces are converted into a format the AI understands, allowing the system to perform blazing-fast similarity searches based on the meaning of your prompts, rather than just keyword matching.

This combination of modern data visualization, vector search, and Large Language Models (powered by Google Gemini) allows Walyze to act as a highly intelligent co-pilot for your memories.

Trust is the foundation of Walyze. Because chat logs contain highly sensitive personal data, the entire system architecture was designed from the ground up to ensure your data remains strictly yours.

• AES-256 Encryption: Your messages and AI conversation are encrypted in the database with a unique key that is kept in your browser's local storage. The key is sent with your requests so the server can read the chat while answering, but it is never saved, so a copy of the database alone cannot be read. Answers are generated by Google Gemini, which receives the parts of the chat relevant to your question.
• Temporary Processing: Your raw `.txt` or `.zip` file is processed purely in temporary memory and is never saved to a disk. Once the data is encrypted and saved to the secure database, the raw file is immediately discarded.
• 24-Hour Auto-Destruction: Every session has a strict, non-negotiable 24-hour lifespan. After 24 hours, the database automatically and permanently deletes your encrypted session, messages, and all related data.

Driven by a deep passion for data structures, modern web experiences, and artificial intelligence, Kartik built Walyze to solve a personal frustration: having years of valuable human connection trapped inside a simple messaging app. What started as an experiment in natural language processing and vector embeddings evolved into a fully-fledged platform meant to be shared with the world.
